The Spirit of IT is the Spirit of ICO…
We could identify three inner dynamic out of the information revolution which is now reshaping our world in every direction we care to look into:
--the relentless drive to invent, and then to supersede what has been just been invented
--the unceasing quest to turn technological dreams into tangible innovations
--the unyielding direction of technological might towards noble ends
In the course of trying to understand ICO we discovered the same set of dynamic which has come to define the strivings and deeds of our colleagues:
--the spirit of relentless progress
--the spirit of odds-defying dream realization
--the spirit of ethical pursuit
The close mapping between the two is not an accident. For we have gathered together a rare group of IT dreamers and doers, who, in the course of their visioning and implementing, have come to live out the true spirit of IT. ICO is now blessed with having found the circumstances and the pathway to work that have come to embody the IT spirit. This is the digital heritage that we want to build, and that we want to build on.
Examine our work to see if we have continued to live up to this spirit.
Test our delivery to see if we have fallen short of our promise.
Point out the ways we could be bettered.
